October 16, 2015

On October 29th, Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord students will come together for action in an event called “UNIS” (United). In a spirit of celebration, UNIS will bring together hundreds of participants at Collège Boréal for a day of awareness-raising and motivational presentations by speakers, activists and artists. As they share their experiences, anecdotes and resources, these special guests will inspire students and provide them will tools to realize their full potential as agents for change, both locally and internationally.

Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord is quite proud to unveil the programming for this day-long event filled with positive energy which has been under development for some time.

Presenters will include:

Anick Gervais: speaker and participant in the TV program Big Brother Canada
Anik Dennie: Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord graduate and student at Laurentian University
Automat: pop-rock band
Céleste Lévis: singer-songwriter and finalist on the TV program La Voix
Hélène Campbell: double lung transplant patient
Janique Labelle and The Black Bull Moose Singers: aboriginal artists
